FIRST TIME I HAD TASTED THE POWER IN THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST
In the year 1991 Month of November, when my daughter was one and half year old there was a Gospel meeting going on in my area conducted by Ebenezer Church. I attended the meeting for 2 days and the third day was Sunday and I said my wife to be ready for the meeting and I went out to play cards with my gang since the meeting was in the evening. During 5 pm the same day one person from my house came in search of me and said that my daughter is in serious condition. I was shocked to hear this since she was good even while I left the house, I ran to my home and saw my daughter was almost in the last stage. I took my daughter in my hand and came to street looking for an auto rickshaw but none came forward since my gang created a problem breaking the autos and shops recently. Just then one auto person came forward and I took my daughter to Seventh Day Hospital and while travelling in the auto I remembered the word of God “VICTORY IN THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST” and I repeated this again and again and suddenly my daughter opened her eyes and looked at me and closed her eyes and put the head down.  

I took her into the hospital and the Doctor said she is no more but still I took her to another child specialist hospital (Lake Side Hospital). There the doctors admitted and gave glucose trips but her body was not accepting it and the blood came out of the body and started to mix with the glucose bottle. Meanwhile my gang and our area people rushed into the hospital. I do not know what to do and my inner man said to take my daughter to the prayer meeting which was already started in my area. I said my wife and my relatives that I will take my daughter to the prayer meeting but the doctors and my relatives were saying I am fool to do it.

I told my wife my decision and I took my daughter and we both went to the meeting place with my daughter. The speaker was sharing the Word of God. I shouted to stop the meeting and all the church member came to me and requested me to be quite and not disturb the meeting thinking I came there to stop the meeting and also since it was the last day of the meeting. But I told the pastor if you are saying JESUS is a living God and he is the healer then raise my daughter from death. The meeting was stopped for sometime and the speaker and the church people gathered there together Prayed for my daughter, within a second my daughter rise up from the dead and she started playing in the meeting knowing nothing what happened to her.  This is the first time I tasted the “POWER OF JESUS CHRIST BLOOD” in my life and shared in the meeting what had happened and why I came to the meeting.

TURNING POINT IN MY LIFE:
After the incident happened in my life, I stared to believe in the power of Jesus Christ, but I had not accepted Jesus Christ as my personal SAVIOUR because I was a Roman Catholic. Once the Pastor of Ebenezer Church came and share about the Gospel but I shouted at him and refused to accept what he says because I told him that I also born in a CHRISTIAN family and our ROMAN CATHOLIC is the true Christianity. The pastor left me fearing that I may do some harm.

Though I had tasted the power of God in my life, my attitude never changed and my gangster journey continued. In the year 1993 my wife became pregnant again and delivered a baby boy. During this time many police cases were registered in me and in the Month of November 1994 police caught me put me in the Jail without dress and with just underwear. I used many influences to come out of the jail but all went in vain. I came to know that the police are planning to put me to Central Jail. That night, I knelt down and remembered the Word of God “VICTORY IN THE BLOOD of JESUS”. I ask God If this time you help me, definitely I will go to the Church.

Next day police took me to the COURT and I was very much afraid thinking they would send me to Central Jail. However, God heard my prayer and I was safe and got the bail order. I came home and again forgot what I promised to God and all I was thinking is how to defeat the person who gave compliant against me. At lost I decided to murder two person who gave complaint against me.

SALVATION IN MY LIFE:
That night I planned and went out of my house for a walk and I saw the Ebenezer church Pastor and another man of God coming in the same street I was walking and they were toward me. When they reached me the man of God put his hand on my shoulder and said JESUS LOVES YOU and I also told him Yes I know. Again, that man of God told me that I am planning to MURDER someone. I was shocked about the word he said. Because only I planned myself and nobody knew about my plan and I never shared with anyone but this person knew about it. I decided to stand and watch what he wants to say to me. He asked me a Question. Brother if you murder someone and what will happen to you and your family, Police will put you in the jail, then your wife, children and family will suffer. If you are released from jail the opposite people will murder you. This is not the life that God has given to you; if you accept Jesus Christ as your personal savior, he will give you good life. If you want this happy life, come and visit our church.

After they spoke to me, they left and I started to continue my walk but at that time someone from my back telling me to go to the church right now, when I turned back nobody was there. I decided to go to the church and I went back to my house and told my wife about the man of God and what he told me. Then the next day I and my wife went to the church and it was afternoon 12.30. When we went near the church gate, pastor and the man of god was very happy to see us and they welcomed us and served a cup of Tea.

Church Pastor asks me if you read, I said yes and the pastor told me take this BIBLE and read this passage and handed over the Bible from his hand. When I took the Bible and noticed the passage, it was from the book of Proverbs chapter 23. I started reading the word of God

Hear thou, my son, and be wise, and guide thine heart in the way.

Be not among winebibbers among riotous eaters of flesh:

For the drunkard and the glutton shall come to poverty: and drowsiness shall clothe a man with rags

Hearken unto thy father that begat thee, and despise not thy mother when She is old

Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction and understanding.

The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice: and he that begetteth a wise child shall have joy of him.

Thy father and thy mother shall be glad, and she that bare thee shall rejoice.

My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways.

For a whore is a deep ditch; and a strange woman is a narrow pit.

She also lieth in waitas for a prey, and increaseth the transgressors among men.

Who hathwoe? who hath sorrow? Who hath contentions? who hath babbling? who hath wounds without cause? Who hath redness of eyes?

They that tarry long at the wine; they that go to seek mixed wine.

Look not thou upon the wine when it is red, when it giveth his colour in the cup*, when it moveth itself aright.

At the last it biteth like a serpent, and stingeth like an adder.

Thine eyes shall behold strange women, and thine heart shall utter perverse things.

Yea, thou shalt be as he that lieth down in the midst of the sea, or as he that lieth upon the top of a mast.

They have stricken me, shalt thou say, and I was not sick; they have beaten me, and I felt it not: when shall I awake? I will seek it yet again.

These words speak with my inner man and comforted me, I cried and realized about my bad doing. Then I decided not to join with the gang and let me give my heart to JESUS. Pastors prayed for me and my wife, I was very happy to receive JESUS as my personal SAVIOUR. From the next morning, I went to the CHURCH. It is very different from our Roman Catholic Church; I enjoyed the WORD OF GOD and the Presence of HOLY SPIRIT in the church. Every early morning 5 am there will be a prayer meeting going on in the church and I started to attend the PRAYER MEETING regularly, within a month I received the ANOINTING of the HOLY SPIRIT, speaking in TONGUES. God started to use me and I told my Pastor that I would like take BAPTISM and on 6th March 1995 my pastor given me the baptism and on the same day GOD gave me a PROMISE from the Bible from Joshua 1:5

“No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you”.

This promise word encouraged me in my troubles from that time onwards God is using me mightily among the young people. I began to SPREAD THE GOOD NEWS to the needy and poor people and my spiritual journey started.
